Invests in local community with donation to the Children's Advocacy Center

Boston, Mass. — Sovereign Bank today celebrated the grand opening of its branch at 75-100 Federal Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Sovereign representatives joined local business leaders and customers at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the branch. At the ceremony, Sovereign highlighted its commitment to the local community by presenting a donation from Sovereign Bank to the Children's Advocacy Center.

The branch is located at 75-100 Federal Street in downtown Boston's Financial District. The 4,400 square foot branch will be staffed by a full-time Senior Small Business Specialist providing financial expertise and banking solutions to the downtown Boston business community. It features three full service walk up ATMs, five teller stations and is supported by five Sovereign team members including Retail Branch Manager Mamadou Dembele.

The grand opening ceremony included the presentation of a donation to the Children's Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization protecting children from domestic violence. The Children's Advocacy Center unites public, private and community partners to promote safety, healing and justice for child victims and their families.
