CDARS

CDARS, also known as the Certificate of Deposit Registry Service is a deposit placement service whereby customers can place large deposits with Sovereign Bank and we arrange for the placement of these funds into certificates of deposit issued by other CDARS network banks through the CDARS platform for full FDIC protection of the deposit. A Sovereign Bank account is required to place a CDARS deposit.
